Terms of Service

alejandro.software (“the site”) is operated by Alejandro Morales from Beaverton, Oregon, United States. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site is

A personal portfolio. It describes my work, lists projects I've built, hosts a blog, and offers two ways to reach me: a contact form at /contact and a booking flow at /book. Nothing on the site is an offer of employment, investment, legal, financial, or medical advice.

Engagement scope

Submitting the contact form or booking a discovery call does not create a contract for services. Any actual engagement is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Until such an agreement exists I have no obligation to provide work, and you have no obligation to pay.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit deceptive, abusive, or unlawful content through the contact form
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site without written permission
• Interfere with the site's availability (e.g. denial-of-service)
• Scrape content at a rate intended to disrupt service
• Use the site to harvest emails or contact information for marketing

Content ownership

All text, code samples, designs, and images on the site are © Alejandro Morales unless otherwise credited. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Anything else (republishing, training AI models, commercial reuse) requires written permission.

Logos and brand marks of third-party products shown in case studies belong to their respective owners.

Bookings and deposits

When a booking type requires a deposit, you pay it through Stripe at the time of booking. Deposits are refundable up to 24 hours before the scheduled meeting; no- shows or last-minute cancellations forfeit the deposit. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that content is error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alejandro Morales is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Total liability for direct damages is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid me in the prior 12 months or (b) US$100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alejandro Morales from any claim arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Oregon.

Changes

I may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
